Red Richardson - Shots Fired 4**** - One4Review

Red Richardson – Shots Fired 4****

| On 11, Aug 2022

So I had heard about the “fake ISIS attack” in London in 2017 and how social media created a completely false event putting 1000’s of people on Oxford Street into complete panic mode for 3 hours! Olly Murs included.

But Red Richardson was there, caught up and in the thick of what must have been a terrifying experience at the time. Contemplating his demise, his mind wanders and he manages to create a very humorous set from the darkest corners of his mind.

It’s fight or flight mode and Red chooses flight, looking at self preservation and wondering where the safest place to shelter on Oxford Street might be and how can he survive the melee.

Set in a very intimate venue, Bunker 1 at the Pleasance, we are all drawn in to be part of his most unusual experience and we can reflect on how social media can play a leading role in fake news.

Red ( real name ) has a very laid back style of delivery and it’s difficult to imagine him being the type to panic and hide under a table next to an “endangered species”.

No wonder he struggles to sleep at night, however it does give him lots more time to pull his thoughts together for this eclectic ramble through his mind.

Nice interaction with his audience he succeeds in keeping us entertained for the entire hour. Keep off Facebook and Insta and go and see some comedy instead!
