Isobel Rogers delivers a witty musical comedy about Elsa, who has ambition of being an artist in London, but has ended up working as a waitress in a cafe to make ends meet.
Elsa becomes fascinated by the lives of her customers as she eavesdrops into their conversations. There’s Lola who breaks off her engagement to her boyfriend (she’s such a daddy’s girl!), Grace who looks like Snow White, the girls and the gossip about the one night stand and the three geese (women) who gaggle about how busy they are and all their money.
This is a clever piece of writing and Isobel’s excellent delivery will have you entertained throughout.
