Anna Hale is a very talented singer songwriter musician. At one point in the show when she first steps away from the keyboard and picks up the guitar, she says; is there anything I can’t do?! My thoughts exactly!

We are told that Anna has written, produced and in performing the show, is clearly in control. The title of the show and the opening song is Control Freak. Anna clearly likes to be in control and when she feels like she might lose it, that’s where the problems begin.

This is a funny, entertaining show but it is about Anna’s fear of being judged and this results in avoiding social situations. In fact she has not been on a date in seven years! The condition can be quite crippling and Anna is in therapy. Jane is Anna’s therapist and her hero! We hear a great deal of the wonderful Jane. The all knowing saviour that is Aussie Jane. Anna does a pitch perfect Australian accent, yet another talent!

The songs are super melodic and the lyrics are both comical and personal. She creates an intimate atmosphere with her very talented vocal prowess and musicianship.

There is also some very funny audience participation that really works and gives another comedic dimension to the show.

The narrative is beautifully controlled and presented. A very talented performer and a show perfectly choreographed.
