The Sundaes are Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry, a trio of singers who burst on to the stage with the colours of their ballgowns matching their chosen sundaes.

They are here to take us on a musical journey of divas who have appeared on the Las Vegas strip over the years and after introductions, they immediately jump into a medley of hits from Diana Ross and the Supremes, each taking it in turns to be the Queen of Motown.

They then stray into male diva territory with the Rat Pack, which included an incredible version of ‘That’s Life’ by Chocolate Sundae.
The rest of the show includes showstoppers from Tina Turner and a very funny tribute to Shirley Bassey.

The Bette Midler and Celine Dion numbers are spine tingling, with some members of the audience visibly in tears; however, the finale of more upbeat songs from the likes of Lady Gaga and Cher has several audience members out of their seats and on their feet forming an impromptu dance circle in the corner.

The Sundaes are a very likeable trio with powerful vocals and exquisite comedic timing. Unfortunately, this was their last show in this year’s Fringe, but they fully intend to be back next year to delight the Fringe audiences.
