This might well be your last chance to see this absolutely amazing show in it’s current format. “Sophies Surprise 29th” is an absolute cracker of a show, it just gets better and better every year.

New cast members bring even more death defying feats to the stage and to the dizzying heights above it. Acrobatics, rope work, Roller-skating, I could go on and on, all supported by excellent backing tracks that whip the crowd into a frenzy. There’s no crash mats or soft landings, every act has it’s fair share of danger involved.

It’s sharp, sexy and a delight to the senses. You’ll be absolutely blown away at this birthday party, I can guarantee you’ve never had one like this. One lucky audience member plays the part of Sophie, and she has her work cut out for her for she’s an integral part of the show.

There’s a bit of a love story/tragedy running throughout, but with loads of humour. The sheer strength and showmanship is beyond belief, rush to get a ticket, and hopefully you might be lucky enough to be part of this absolutely outstanding spectacle of circus and comedy. Yet again, one of my picks of The Fringe.
