Sophie Duker is a woman on a mission, exploring every nook and cranny of female sexuality, relationships and womanhood in her aptly titled show, “Hot Beef Injection”.

It’s fair to say she’s had more than enough male dating disasters that’s led her to dive headfirst into her bi-sexual side and give the girls a chance as well. She’s taken the reigns of female empowerment and is not a woman to be messed around.

She may be diminutive in stature, but she owns the floor and gives us at times a very close to the knuckle performance. Occasionally the shock value pushes the boundaries, but the majority of the audience lap it up and beg for more.

Being used to seeing her on TV panel shows, this is very different side I see to her comedy, it’s much more raw and untamed. We get see what her childhood was like, being brought up by a single mother and a houseful of powerful aunties has left an indelible mark on her personality. She can be fierce at times, but as a woman making her name in comedy, she clearly needs to be.

Provocative, unwavering, and packing a punch, and not afraid to shout about it, go and see this outrageously bold comedy powerhouse.
