Adele Cliff returns to the Fringe with a topical news show. So topical that it is written each day and covers up to the minute headlines. Tonight’s offering includes the Clacton by election and dodgy Nigel features heavily.

The venue this evening, the Big Yurt, is not big at all! It’s quite a compact space. It is hot and a bit sticky on this fine summer’s evening. Adele presents alongside her brilliant co presenters, Will Davies, and stepping up to lend her vocal talents to the musical interludes, the talented Katie Pritchard.

This is a fun evening and cleverly very current. It’s light hearted and witty and Adele’s style is relaxed. The current headlines are cleverly dissected from the wild fires to the inevitable Trump bashing.

We were promised guests and tonight’s guest is Sarah Hester Ross, who is an American cabaret artist and musical comedian currently living in Las Vegas. We are told that this is her second time at the Fringe and is enjoying it more this year having learned a few hard lessons from her first time around. Sarah is tested on her knowledge of the UK by way of a quiz. She is shown pictures of MP’s, or are they fake? Remarkably she guessed that Jacob Rees-Mogg was real!

This is a fun way to spend an early evening hour at the Fringe.
