Petite New York based comedian Jenny Gorelick makes her Edinburgh fringe debut with SORRY but what is she apologising for? The quirky Jewish comedian gives a confident 40-minute performance and an insight into her dating experiences, dating Apps and more, with a touch of Britney Spears and the occasional use of the ‘F’ word throughout, she doesn’t hold back.

Dressed like she’s going on a date, Jenny briefly gets to know the sellout audience before flying into her relationship experiences, when things on an airplane don’t quite go to plan, she hilariously describes how she goes into panic mode yet her ex-boyfriend seems interested and more concerned with something else! Her boyfriend’s Tattoo is somewhat cheeky and highlights the importance of putting punctuation in the right place, but the story doesn’t end there as Jenny has to decide if she wants her experience printed in the New York Times when they hear about her date!

Dating Apps and Podcasting are all too common now and Jenny gives her thoughts and shares some more experiences as her fast-paced show continues, she describes the pitfalls of dating a magician and alludes to her parents being divorced and their single life experiences, her mum’s choice of transport will certainly catch the attention of would-be suitors!

As the show concludes, Jenny gives her opinion on how some not so favoured historical figures would fair using dating Apps and it wouldn’t be right if Hitler and the holocaust didn’t get a mention, can you imagine dating Apps during WWII? So, is she Sorry or has she used her experiences as reflective practice?

With the use of good lighting, a bit of music and a TV to compliment her show, Gorelick delivers a desperate at times yet fast paced seductive performance that has the audience laughing from start to finish.
