Kemah Bob – Love Child 3*** - One4Review

Kemah Bob – Love Child 3***

| On 10, Aug 2026

From a brief sighting of Kemah Bob on TV 2 years ago, I took a chance on going to see her debut show Misfortunate in a packed-out room and thought she had enormous talent so on her return I was eager to see more.
The 2026 offering, Love Child, performed in a better, bigger room unfortunately, at this stage anyway, fell somewhat short of her previous offering.
Okay this was still a preview, however it seemed vastly under rehearsed, there were a few occasions when she dried, which did nothing to keep the pace of the hour.
There is no doubt that Bob has charisma and stage presence, from her sparkly stage outfit , exotic hair style and her chatty inclusive style, but this show presents as requiring audience interaction and chat. This was not assisted by a rather bijou crowd that attended the show I saw, and several were called on more than once to be involved
The material delivered by this Texas born Uk dwelling comic had a large amount of her extended family, her growing up, recreational drugs and a great dislike of sport. American politics also gets a mention obviously.
I feel there is a good show in there somewhere. It needs tightened up and of course would benefit from a larger crowd for this very likeable performer to spark off.
