Rosco McClelland The Bones 4 ½ **** - One4Review

Rosco McClelland The Bones 4 ½ ****

| On 13, Aug 2026

Rosco McClelland is fast becoming one of the most in demand comics at the Fringe each year and as I have been seeing him for most of them I am delighted that this is the case.
Down to earth Rosco has the predominately Scottish audience in the palm of this hand and keeps them there with a fine mixture of opinions, observational humour, anecdotes and personal stuff , all peppered through with belly laughs from one and all.
His range of subjects is vast. Trying to be grounded, recording a Scottish World Cup song, he did, contrary to what some boozed up member of the Tartan Army thought, gigging, travel, Wordle, earwax, the Glasgow Coma scale and his beloved dog all get a fair bit of airtime.
Rosco comes across as a likeable guy, even if he does have pathological demand avoidance. The crowd can relate to him, and usually the laughs come from the fact that he finds the funny a lot of everyday matters.
McClelland won the Sir Billy Connelly Spirit Of Glasgow award in 2025, and joins an impressive alumnus of top-class comics, a place he more than deserves. He is guaranteed to make you laugh and it is impossible to not have a great time.
