After 11 years of stand up, Tom Evans brings his one-man show “All you weed is love” to the Edinburgh Fringe.  It’s an eclectic mix of some of his best material all rolled into one neatly compressed routine.

He’s done various jobs in his day, but it was a bold move to Liverpool that kick-started his comedic journey.  He has a very laid-back style, maybe because of the weed, and he brings a natural warmth to his show.  It’s a bit like catching up with an old friend you’ve forgotten about.  It’s comfortable but engaging at the same time.

Mr Evans exudes enthusiasm and his show isn’t just about the highs and lows of cannabis, there’s also a fair smattering about relationships, dating, and being a single bisexual man. He happily shares plenty personal stories throughout the gig which are both hugely funny and entertaining.

I’ll admit that some of the material needs a little bit of work so there’s more of a natural flow, but that doesn’t distract from the fact that he’s well worth going to see. We had a great time, I hope this is the start of many more Fringe outings.
