Andrew Frost: Cards on the Table 4.5**** - One4Review

An hour-long show with one man and a pack of playing cards might sound dull – believe me this was anything but. Andrew Frost must be the finest card magician in the world. I took my 12-year-old along to this show and we were blown away. It is an intimate show set in a small room off Pleasance Courtyard. Andrew very kindly and gently encourages audience members to help him out on stage. He comes across as a nice and humble guy who just so happens to be passionate about cards.
We were sitting just feet away from him but could not believe what we were seeing. I have no idea how he manages to pull off such elaborate and mind-boggling tricks. He’s not showy or fancy with it, just excellent at what he does. The hour long show flew past and my daughter and I emerged into the Pleasance sunshine utterly bewildered and extremely impressed. My 12 year old was so taken with the show that we have bought a book on card magic. The show is aimed at those aged 12 and above which I think feels right. A real gem of a show and we can’t wait to see what Mr Frost will do next year.
