In Pour Taste is a unique comedy wine tasting experience. It is presented by the very likeable and engaging Australian duo Sweaney Preston and Ethan Cavanaugh. They are dressed very smartly we are each seated in groups on tables.

They wittily guide the audience through tasting five different wines. While the comic duo entertain us with some audience participation and funny anecdotes, a wine expert then explains the origin and the notes of each wine – which we need little encouragement to then taste.

This is a fun show and the dapper duo are utterly charming. Sweaney and Ethan keep things moving along in between each wine taste. The audience are even encouraged to take part in a little dance to a song by the Australian kids favourites, the Wiggles. A fun twist!

There is great chemistry between our co-hosts. They improvisation, interact and feed off the audience before them. It feels like quite an intimate experience as our pair attentively manage to pour wine and engage with each table, adding a personal touch.

A great show for wine and comedy lovers alike! The duo have put together a very enjoyable and entertaining show with a concept that has great appeal. Comedy and wine. What’s not to like?
