A courtroom set up where the audience accuses their friends and family of crimes and the comedian hosts take on the roles of the judge and lawyers. The others in the audience help decide whether the accused is guilty or innocent. The entire hour was full of laughter and chaos! Some of the accusations were ridiculous but it’s the way the comedians turn it into an hilarious piece of comedy, that is truly skilful. 

Patrick Monahan was the comedian performing in this show and he demonstrated his skills at improv with ease. He looked so comfortable on the stage and delicately picked on some members of the audience. He acted as the defence lawyer and had to spin an alternative theory for the defence, with some hilarious outcomes. 

Audience participation is key to this act and there’s no escape if you happen to be one of the unfortunate ones whose case gets picked. However, it is all performed in good faith and no one is made to feel uncomfortable at all. 

I loved how much fun the comedians themselves were having and were laughing with the audience throughout the show. As an audience member, you really felt included and comfortable throughout the whole show, even if you were not directly involved.

The greatest thing about improv is it will likely be a different show again today! Shows like this can be really great or really terrible. I was fortunate today’s was great! Tomorrow’s reviewer may have a different story to tell. Highly recommend this show if you’re looking for a guaranteed laugh but it may be at your expense!
