CSI Crime Scene Improvisation — 5***** - One4Review

This is my teenager and my second year of seeing this brilliant show. The premise is that we, the audience, help a detective catch a murderer. In order to set the scene the audience is asked for suggestions about the victim, the victim’s occupation and the murder weapon. The cast then use them to create and act out an entire murder investigation on the spot.
It’s a simple idea but it works brilliantly. The cast are phenomenal. Very quick and funny, it’s impressive watching them take completely random suggestions from the audience and somehow turn them into an actual story. There were lots of moments where you could see them trying to catch each other out or deal with something ridiculous that had just been thrown into the plot, which made it even funnier.
Because everything comes from the audience, every performance will be completely different. You could easily go back another day and see a totally different show.
It’s silly, clever and genuinely very funny. There’s also something particularly enjoyable about watching people come up with all of this in the moment and somehow manage to keep the whole thing going.
One of those Fringe shows that’s just really good fun. Appropriate for kids aged twelve and over. I’d definitely recommend it.
