Dan Kelly : How I Went to Every Supermarket in the World 4**** - One4Review
one4review | On 18, Aug 2026
Dan Kelly brings together a fascinating story of how, after leaving university he became a data collector for ten years, which involved travelling the world to record the cost of living in far of countries, noting prices in shopping centres and malls across the globe.
What follows are his exploits collecting data manually to customs, immigration, and navigating his way around the world.
This is an absolute Angel Delight of a show. To begin with, it’s amazing this job even exists. From Russia to Kazakhstan, we get the highs and lows as we follow our Super(market)Tramp in various guises, almost spy-like in places. The VT work is smart, accompanied by gasps from the audience at many points in the show at the disbelief how far he will go to get the price of processed peas.
Of particular amusement is tracking down rare items like Pokémon, along with a few surprises involving fake goods and names.
Dan really has a gift for producing a show like this, and this clever, smart hour flies by in a McDonald’s McFlurry.
