Monski Mouse’s Baby Disco Dance Hall 5★★★★★ - One4Review

Monski Mouse’s Baby Disco Dance Hall is a delightful, heartfelt romp, full of joyful fun that is carefully curated for children but genuinely enjoyable for everyone in the room. There’s space for kids to stretch, play and crawl, and such warmth in the room that it’s strange to see so many people smiling at once.
At one point, as we crawl across the floor pretending to be lions, a dad laughs: “And I’m the one paying for this?” Everyone is genuinely enjoying themselves. Each section is perfectly balanced, giving children time to move freely before drawing them back into the next activity. We lie down and pretend to sleep, then leap up as bunnies. Every part of the show contains movement, but families can engage as much or as little as they want.
There’s also a conga line, allowing the more adventurous children to throw themselves fully into the experience. Designed for ages zero to four, it feels perfectly judged for its audience.
The thoughtful, joyful nature of our host, Monica Corduff-Gonzalez, makes everyone in the room feel welcome. Through the smallest personal touches—waving individually, picking people out and making children feel seen—she creates an experience that feels personal even in a busy room. There’s enormous skill beneath the apparent simplicity.
The families I spoke to called it the best children’s show they had seen in Edinburgh, and it’s easy to understand why. Everyone leaves feeling good.
