Resplendent in a shiny silver dress the whirlwind that is Felicity Ward took to her stage after being away from the fringe for eight years!
Where has the time gone, and what changes have there been in her life over the intervening years? Strap in this antipodean live wire is back, and we’ll be in for a hilarious hour.
Since she was last here, she has become a mum, been married, now divorced, dated both men and women subsequently and has been a contestant on the Australian Dancing with the Stars, their equivilent to Strictly.
Ward has always been aware of her own mental health issues, but maybe there are more now, she leads us through some of the post-divorce dating history, online dating sites? Of course, a brief thumbnail breakdown on each site, her fav TV programme Alone and of course some of the experiences undergone whilst being a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. She delivers the material as if chatting with pals over a drink or three
The hour passes all too quickly, she has always been a really funny comic, with absolutely oodles of energy and stage presence and this is still the case in abundance. But is there a slight maturity in her performances now? What cannot be denied is she is still a fair dinkum funny lady.
