The boys are back in town, and this time with a tandem! “The Thinking Drinkers Great British Pub Ride”, catalogues what Tom & Ben got up to last year instead of coming to the Fringe.
They are on a mission to save pubs across the country and their epic cycle ride of over 1000 miles from one of the country to the other, highlights how the industry is in massive decline. Our local drinking spots are disappearing fast due to a number of factors, many of them down to the Government and our taxation system.
As always, the show comes with 5 lovely drinks to enjoy or take home with you, with a lovely story attached to each one. There’s still a massive amount of comedy throughout and their delivery is flawless. They are the perfect “tonic” to pick you up. As well as being really funny, it’s very educational and we get educated on the history of drinking, pubs, and everything associated with them.
After the show, I heard one audience member say, “I think that’s the best Fringe show I have ever seen”. High praise indeed, but very well deserved. Looking forward to having a beer with the lads, in a pub!
