Harry Stachini - Lobster - 5* - One4Review

After catching Harry Stachini on a podcast last year, I was keen to see his one man show, “Lobster” which he trialled last year at the Fringe as a work in progress. Let me tell you, he has managed to grow this show into an absolute belter.
He’s so engaging and likeable, it’s like having a night out with one of your mates, the funny one. Right from the start we are laughing out loud at his very sharp and witty observations. He builds a wonderful connection with audience and his stories are outstanding. Funny, relatable, full of personality and his comedy timing hits the mark every time.
Harry has a great relationship with his dad, but this has been put to the test when his dad recently moved in with him. The dynamic has shifted, his dad is the lodger now, and Harry is in charge. The situation they find themselves in has some beautifully funny moments.
He’s been performing a lot recently including a stint on the cruise ships, and this has helped to turn him into a very confident performer, quick witted and full of energy. I predict big things for this Northern Star, catch his show while you can. I was lucky to get a seat but what made it particularly enjoyable for me was the fact I was sitting next to his dad in the audience.
Dine out on “Lobster” it’s a luxury you can’t afford to miss.
