Ellis has been a feature of the comedy world for ages and, since several TV appearance of late, he has become a really hot ticket wherever he performs.

There was a slight delay in starting, damn techy gremlins, but once he hits the stage he was off and running, although he admits on several occasions he did deviate from the planned material. Were we worried? Hell no! Only he knew what was planned, certainly the fare he delivered was lapped up by the sold-out audience.

Ellis talks to his crowd a lot, probably why there are deviations from script, but there is always a funny to be found and Phil will find it. And how!

He relates tales based on his experiences of living in a London house share; moving back home to Preston in his parents’ house at 44; AI; his family; and how his appearance sometimes causes issues. Of course there is more, who knows where his audience will lead him each day. Oh, and there is the subject of his show title. His closer, and we do get there eventually.

Ellis is a wonderful entertainer, a real funny man who deserves all the accolades he gets. This show is always selling out so don’t delay in getting your ticket. They won’t be there for long.
