This is a curious title for Alistair’s new Fringe show. It doesn’t really give much away but it does all become clear. If you have seen any of Alistair’s previous shows then you will know to expect an hour of sharp, brilliantly observed and written comedy performed by one of slickest comedians around.

There are a numbers of topics that are making Alistair a little bit angry. Climate change deniers, a number of wars that are currently raging, that unhinged ignorant maniac currently residing in the White House, Gregg Wallace, oh and he still hasn’t forgotten or forgiven, the country for Brexit. Above all though, I think that it is Gregg Wallace that he particularly vents his spleen at! He really doesn’t hold back on the former Masterchef presenter with a hilarious rant, particularly the part where he said “TV personality” blames much of his bad behaviour was largely due to having been diagnosed with ADHD. This is mildly confusing for most people but as a parent to two young children who are “proper” neurodivergent, then that excuse, tends to hit harder.

It’s not all about disgraced TV personalities! We hear about Alistair’s Torygraph reading elderly parents who reside on the Isle Of Wight and who have very different views on parenting and their advice on the subject is not really very helpful. I think we can all agree that parenting in the 1970’s, well it was a different time and kids today “just need more discipline”, and that’s open to interpretation!

This is a very fine hour of comedy indeed. Alistair has rightfully garnered much critical acclaim and nominations over the years and it is clear to see why. This show does not disappoint.
