YUCK Circus: Naughties - 4.5**** - One4Review

It’s the year 2000, can you remember that far back, and a thumping boy band track immediately transports me back in time. “YUCK Circus: Naughties” is an absolute feast for the senses.
Georgia our MC, prowls across the stage and is a vision in a figure-hugging pink dress and the highest high heels I have ever seen in my life. She’s cheeky and a bit saucy at times but balances the humour exceptionally well.
The performers take turns as groups and individually to entertain us with a series of gymnastic feats, acrobatics, and aerobic artistry. And I loved every minute. Despite them performing during the Edinburgh deluge, in which the noise was phenomenal, the show must go on. And go on it did to thunderous applause.
There’s huge nods to the 2000’s and it’s great to reminisce, It’s high energy acrobatics, contortions and feats of strength skilfully displayed to an amazing choice of music from the era. Aerial displays above the stage up high in the roof of this tented venue add another dimension to the show.
It’s a terrific show and the ladies put on one hell of a performance. One I hope to return to see before the Fringe ends.
