Having first reviewed them as a duo last year at The Edinburgh Fringe, I was keen to see how this “Stand Up Couple” were going to develop their comedy talents another year into their real-life relationship.  Abi Carter-Simpson & Joe McTernan have a wonderful chemistry, and their comedy styles compliment one another beautifully. 

They are quick to build a lovely rapport with the crowd, and their humour is bang on the money.  The show is full of fun, and we all have a right good laugh, I particularly enjoyed their tales of touring on the Cruise Ship circuit.

This double act is a bit of a rarity, and I love how they manage to bounce back and forth adding to each other’s stories, enhancing the humour.  Their first date story is absolutely priceless, and other stories follow, keeping us all on our toes.  It’s wonderful to see how two individual entertainers have been able to blend their styles and create a very watchable and memorable performance

This is a hugely enjoyable show, set in a beer garden at The Beehive, in the Grassmarket.  I urge you to make this part of your Fringe pick list, you won’t be disappointed.
