If there is a word that doesn’t describe Lorraine, then it is Mean. She isn’t. She is  bright, bubbly and entertaining, a funny lady who controls her venue with a velvet glove who, seems to be into many things , but not very rich people who don’t pay their taxes.

It is not the easiest room for her to play, noise spillage, from outside, wide, but not too deep but she copes with it all and then some.

Engaging with her audience from the off, not confrontational, just inclusive there is a whole raft of comedy material in the all too short hour as she expounds on house renovating their property in Cheshire, her shopping addiction, hence always broke, returning to the office, a 4 ½ hour commute, quicker to get to Malaga than London, relationship status and a lot of jibes about billionaires Gates, Bezos, Musk, Branson, even though she used to work for him, all return regularly during the show, which flows seamlessly from subject  to subject.

This is not the first time I have seen Lorraine perform, not necessarily in the best of rooms, but she always gets on with what she loves doing, making people laugh, relating funny anecdotes, entertaining her audience and giving value for money. Mean? Certainly not.
