Why don’t you flock to see Steffan Alun and his new show, Windows? He’s part of the Welsh Comedy Sheep Crew and it literally is a ”look through” into the deepest, darkest parts of his identity. How much can you actually remember about your childhood, and how much of it is part dream or part what you want it to be? Steffan has an ongoing disagreement with his mother about just this scenario, and he has to try and prove her wrong.

He’s a great story-teller and there’s a very natural charm and warmth to his style that he’s perfected while writing this all-new show over the past 11 months. He handles the audience very confidently and he maintains the audience interest throughout. I particularly enjoyed when he opened up about his childhood and growing up in South Wales. The stories he recounts are filled with emotion and you can tell Steffan has poured his heart and soul into Windows, with great success.

He manages to create a lovely atmosphere in the room, without dragging the crowd into the performance, and his humour is sharp and spontaneous. If you’re “window-shopping” for a show this Fringe, you can definitely bag a bargain with this one.
