Ignacio Lopez brings to the Fringe his new show, Nada, which is still very much a work in progress.
However, he manages to pull off a rollercoaster ride of a show in his own inimitable style. This affable Welsh/Majorcan has the audience exactly where he wants them, in the palm of his hand.
His recent TV appearances have cemented his reputation as a spontaneous and razor sharp comedian, giving him an air of confidence which helps him give a very polished performance.
This new departure of comedy style suits him well, it’s super-clever and left me grinning long after the show finished. There’s an element of improvisation that he handles perfectly but it relies on the audience being able to provide material that Lopez weaves into comedy gold.
I’ve watched Ignacio grow over the past 3 years into a very charismatic comedian and each year here at the Fringe he never fails to impress. He’s becoming more of a household name even though the majority still mispronounce his name!!
Nada, may mean nothing in Spanish, but this show has everything you need in a very enjoyable and entertaining show.
