Leo Still Dies In the End : Alice Fishbein 4**** - One4Review

The show is entirely dedicated to the much acclaimed and multi Oscar winning 1997 movie Titanic, directed by James Cameron and starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.
Now I cannot overstate the level of obsession or how profound the effect of viewing this movie for the first time (and it was a dodgy VHS copy) had on our show ‘s writer and creator Alice Fishbein.
Alice’s passion for this cinematic giant does not wane over the course of the one hour show. It is a clever concept as Alice spins a “wheel of fortune” style device that lands on the name of a particular scene from the movie. This is then re-enacted, with very few props, by Alice.
Alice is a very confident (very American!) performer and is very at home on the stage expressing and sharing her sheer love and joy of Titanic.
You could argue that the show could be slightly one-dimensional, and perhaps even narrow in appeal, but Alice does make it a lot of fun. Her energy is off the charts! This truly is a one woman tour de force.
This is an entertaining hour of comedy parody performed with such genuine enthusiasm and passion. Alice confidently commands your attention throughout.
