To many Paul Sinha is best known as ‘The Sinnerman’ from the ITV quiz programme ‘The Chace’. To others he is an accomplished stand-up comedian first and foremost, 30 years in the industry, but whatever he is known for Stand 3 was full and raring to go.

Paul opened with a satirical song, if fact a few other occurred later, and we were off, an hour of his comedy on a variety of subjects, starting with celebrity autobiographies including his own, also crime writing celebs too. Some of the passages beggared belief. He also gives a brief synopsis of some of his Edinburgh shows over the years.

But Sinha is not adverse in being self-deprecating either. His material is wide ranging, his family, health conditions, problems with drinking and gambling, TV programmes, Award ceremony hosting, blanked by pop royalty… the list goes on.

As always with one of his shows, it is bitingly funny, delightfully written. It is never ranty, Paul’s delivery is erudite and occasionally cutting, but rest assured the audience loved it. The laughs flowed long and hard and the hour was no way long enough for anyone.
