A year or two ago Robin Grainger played his Edinburgh show to one audient.  This caused him to be catapulted into the spotlight both nationally and internationally.

No such problem now, Grainger who has always been a top comic is playing to full houses virtually every night and rightfully getting media attention for all the right reasons.

He commits to his art. Dressed in a pink suit, with hair the same colour, he is straight into the story. This show was going to be different, but life happened and here we are, People Pleaser was the result.

Grainger explains the term People Pleaser. He has always been one, with examples from school days right through to today. He talks of Pokémon card , counselling, uni, acting audition, his relationship breakdown the loss of his flat and his dog, and estate agents and oh such much more.

The writing is superb, the performance brilliant, the jokes never stop coming, so thick and fast one can hardly keep up. The frequent call backs, the self-deprecation, the non-stop energy, we the audience could barely catch out breath, heaven knows how he managed to keep going for the hour.

I have seen quite a lot of his shows over the years, and this is by far the best. It would be a shame to miss out, grab your ticket, if there are any available, without delay. Robin certainly is a people pleaser.
