Josh Elton is a Welsh comic with plenty to say and his show “Away with the Fairies” is a full on assault, making his first full fringe debut a very memorable one.
He oozes charm and confidence and delivers his set with the pace and timing of a seasoned performer. The show is a whirlwind round up of his childhood and early years combined with what’s currently going on in his life.
This former therapist has given me my joke of the fringe so far!! Laugh out loud funny moments about growing up in Wales resonate with us, and the cat in the hat style poem is absolute genius. Loved it!
He owns this small stage venue and tackles a whole host of themes and issues. We all laugh at other’s mis-fortune, we can’t help it and Elton’s no different. Some of his stories are clearly untrue! Or are they?
His own mis-adventures seem too absurd to be real but he shows us headline-worthy evidence that can’t be made up. I still googled to check.
No need to seek approval, the crowd really enjoyed your show, so keep telling lies about your brother and I hope he comes to see your next show at The Fringe.
