Welcome to NVRLND, where Wendy and Peter reunite for a night of adventure, nostalgia, and staying forever young. Set in the crumbling remains of a once-glorious nightclub, the moment you arrive you’re transported into this immersive experience, with DJ Tinkerbell blasting out noughties club anthems.

The characters from J.M. Barrie’s classic are all here—but not quite as you remember them. Tiger Lily takes centre stage as a brilliant MC, guiding us through this wild nightclub musical. The Lost Boys dance their socks off and pull the audience into the action from start to finish. The story is cleverly reimagined, blending the familiar tale with a soundtrack of club hits from Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, and Beyoncé—delivered in powerhouse live performances.

The production weaves elements of the original story into its high-energy, laugh-out-loud spectacle, enhanced by cleverly chosen anthems and dynamic choreography. In this version, Wendy arrives at the club in a wedding dress, having just jilted her fiancé at the altar. She soon reconnects with Peter, who refuses to grow up, bouncing around the stage like a rock star. It wouldn’t be a fairytale without peril, and here it comes in the form of Peter’s failing club, NVRLND. Captain Hook, a rival nightclub owner, is eager to take advantage, while the shady and opportunistic Mr Crock lurks in the sidelines, waiting to pounce.

From start to finish, the audience is part of the show. The atmosphere is electric, the cast’s energy is infectious, and the engagement never dips. By the end, you’ll be itching to head straight to the nearest nightclub.

The only drawback is the venue: while the staging being shifted around the floor was handled brilliantly by the cast, a larger, cooler space would have elevated the experience even further.

If you love a full-on nightclub storytelling experience, Club NVRLND is definitely the show for you. You might even leave feeling like Peter Pan himself—that you never want to grow up. I loved it.
