Set in a spacious venue, the dating party game show is in town and if you want a fun packed hour of mischief, laughs and a possible romantic ending then this is the place to be. Never mind the Botox babes or the guys with bronzed six packs with heightened egos on love island, these contestants are down to earth hopefuls selected from the audience!

So, like most game shows the show starts with the host introducing a selection process, the audience are asked a series of questions so an elimination process can take place, if you do not want to take part then just sit down. Once complete the four male candidates and one female candidate are asked to sit on stage and the show begins.

The first round consists of a treasure hunt, the male candidates forage around the audience to collect assorted items, these items equate to points depending on the difficulty to obtain them. When the candidates return to the stage their totals are added up but there are bonus points on offer if they manage to put some of the items gained to effective use! At the end of the round one male is eliminated.

Round two is a Q&A with the female candidate asking the males a series of pre-selected questions, similar to ‘Blind date’ (For those old enough to remember), again at the end of the round one male is eliminated. The final round is a music round and once again another male is eliminated at the end leaving the winning male and female to enjoy an intimate moment with each other before going on their first date!

As this was part of the ‘Free Fringe’, the show was very well attended with an abundance of students, however there is no age limit in this show which will invariably change from night to night depending on the audience. It was a laugh a minute, live gameshow that worked extremely well, the candidates and audience are the stars of the show so grab a drink, let your hair down and enjoy the show!
