It seems to be the critic’s choice as to a must-see production this year and as it starred Mike McShane, a comic actor I’ve respected for years I had to follow the suggestion and see it. The creative team behind this are very well acclaimed and have a c.v. that reads well, but this play in three acts left me cold most of the time. Occasionally, too occasionally for me, there were a few funny moments but these were interspersed with non-funny material that I was longing for the play to be over.
