A-Team - The Musical - One4Review

Take a popular American TV series with heavily contrived plots, a cross section of male stereotypes, frequently occurring totally obvious situations and a female to be rescued and you have TV’s ‘The A-Team’.  Mix together Scratch productions, the comedy team behind the reduced Edinburgh Fringe Impro show, the plot, words and lyrics from the brain that is Gareth Cane Kane and you get ‘A-Team The Musical’.  This hilarious hour was one hell of a way to start my Fringe viewing!

Having been sold out over the past few days, it appears The A-Team are already developing a cult following.  If this trend continues tickets will be like gold dust and you will need to protect them from the ‘Jacksons’!

Messrs Hannibal, Face, Murdock and BA Baracus are protecting the defenceless Tiwnia Roberts from the dastardly Jacksons, whilst attempting to evade capture by Colonel Decker. This fast paced romp is so full of clichéd memories of the original TV show, along with basic slapstick, good and bad comedy and silly songs, I defy anyone to come out of the show without at least smiling. I had a whale of a time.

If you are looking for a rollicking good time and are holding out for a ‘Hero’ get down to the Gilded Balloon Wine Bar at 17-30, if you can get a ticket that is!
