Sorry Mick. You say reviewers always describe you as a Northern comedy circuit comic and that it is lazy. Well maybe. But I think that it is more an attribute that you are a comic who is not flouncy, and is always looking for a message, or has as you mention just lost a relative. What we get is an hour of good solid jokes delivered by a man who is obviously great at what he does.

Ferry’s packed out sweatbox of a venue is treated to his thoughts and observations on Catholic education, the Scottish Referendum, educational qualifications and his aging and weight issues not to mention the ‘book’ he is running on additions to a certain high profile investigation.

Ferry is often self-deprecating in his delivery, sometimes shoot from the lip and has firm opinions on things like social media and couples being best friends as well. It was fab hour well written and presented by a quality pro and we were all enjoying the show so much the finish sneaked up on everyone well before we wanted it to. And that is certainly not the case with every show.
