Gareth Mutch – Maybe Tomorrow 5**** - One4Review

Gareth Mutch – Maybe Tomorrow 5****

| On 08, Aug 2025

Gareth Mutch has been an in-demand comic on the scene for a few years now and it is  not hard to understand why he had a sell-out show on the night I went to witness his offering this Fringe.

Resplendent in a pink tee shirt, describing himself as ‘Hagrid rocking up to Pride’  from the off he has an air of being a safe pair of hands, and then proceeds to demonstrate this for his hour.

Mutch has stage presence and charisma, he is adept at interacting with is audience, yet never making anyone uncomfortable, and has a written a show bursting with laugh out loud stories, generally at his own expense. Yet there are more introspective moments as well.

He talks with warmth about his wife and his parents, yet they are party to many of the funny moments too, as is his driving instructor, but there is a lot of stopping off places as well. Post-gig in Liverpool, the perfect man, the Scotrail staff at Waverly being just a few of the others.

It all finished far too soon for us all. Gareth has written a cracker here, and it’s well paced presentation was a delight to witness.

As previously mentioned this was a sell-out show. I am sure many more well be also. Book a ticket now, ‘cause maybe tomorrow will be too late.
