Finding shows for younger teenagers can be tricky. Too old for children’s shows and too young for adult shows has led us see numerous magic and illusion shows. A consequence of this is that my mini reviewer has seen some wonderful 5 star reviews which are now the benchmark for which all other magic shows are measured.

Honest Fraud is performed by two lovely guys from Brazil. They obviously have lots of passion about their show and the tricks they perform are good. They also have a lovely relationship with the audience, including everyone and even teaching us some Portuguese. A standout trick for us was when they were able to ‘predict’ who would win a giant game of rock/paper/scissors.

There is no doubt that the two performers are enthusiastic and talented, but the show could do with padding out to include more tricks/laughs/shocks. The show is called Honest Fraud as it aims to explore the line between reality and illusion. However, we felt that the tricks they do are no different to other magic shows and this was particularly disappointing to my 13-year-old.

The show is advertised as suitable for kids aged 12 and over but I think it is suitable for kids of all ages.
