Britt Migs: Dolphin Mode 3*** - One4Review

Britt Migs: Dolphin Mode 3***

| On 02, Aug 2025

Britt Migs is an exuberant New Yorker with a huge smile and an easy and confident stage presence, who immediately brings the audience in when she arrives on stage. It’s this ease and confidence that carries a show that feels a bit roomy. Ms Migs’ performance is an over-large sweater that her material needs a bit of time to grow in to and fill out.

That’s not to say that this isn’t a good and funny show – it is – it just seems there’s more Ms Migs could make of her source material, and given the quality of the current content, there’s no doubt it would be excellent. Britt is recently divorced, and re-entering the dating scene; exploring elements of her own sexuality and by all evidence loving life. She easily walks a careful line of exploring her experience with men without alienating half the audience, as well as throwing in the odd self-deprecating analysis of her own behaviour for balance.

Giant continuous belly-laughs this show isn’t, but it’s entertaining throughout the thirty-five minutes, laced with a good amount of humour from unexpected places. With more experience and development, Ms Migs will be a go-to Fringe show. See this one so you can say you saw her at the start.
