Thinking about a trip to Australia? Then I suggest you go and see Dan Willis Fringe Show, Australia – A Comedians Guide.  Born and raised in the North of England, Dan’s been living Down Under for quite some time, happily settled married with a young family.  He’s quite the expert when it comes to things that might kill or maim you and he’s had some first hand experience of spider bites.

Performing at Finnegans Wake, it’s a decent pub venue but some of the crowd were quite noisy and distracting which was unfortunate as his set was really funny, just difficult to hear at the back of the room.

Highlighting the differences between UK & Aussie cultures opens up a huge can of worms, especially with what appears to be some very popular racist and homophobic food brands.

He’s been able to rack up a fair few airmiles flying back and forth and his experience with Air Malaysia is hilarious

Despite all the differences, he still manages to make Australia sound like a wonderful place to visit, and after seeing how his wedding went, I feel he has the bones of really good show right there for next year’s Fringe!
