Robin Ince: The Universe and the Neurodiverse 4.5**** - One4Review

Robin Ince: The Universe and the Neurodiverse is a highly entertaining, speedy though seemingly shambolic journey through neurodiversity, particularly ADHD, in the hands of a seasoned comedian, writer and broadcaster.
Ince’s trademark scattergun style darts between gravestone inscriptions, freshly written poems, early-morning nature photography, curious museums, and even a zoo for illegally imported animals. Through these eclectic stops, he reveals the ADHD mind at its most vivid and inventive.
He reflects on how his hypervigilance for danger has evolved into a keen sensitivity to beauty, history, and wonder, urging us to “rebel with joy.” Along the way, he celebrates neurodivergent figures like Judi Dench, Jane Goodall, and Greta Thunberg, whose unique perspectives shape their impact on the world.
Witty, intelligent, and uplifting, Ince’s performance offers both a celebration of curiosity and an invitation to embrace our own ways of seeing. It’s an hour in the company of a brilliant mind learning to be joyfully unshackled.
