When Festival Theatre USA were last at the fringe the show ‘Star Wars: Trilogy in 30 Minutes’ was always a sell-out. This time round the houses are quite full but at present no extra performances are scheduled. I wondered how they would fair after the release of the three prequels. It seems that the original three shows are still dear to people’s hearts. Thanks to some clever script editing / cutting some very fast talking and some inventive use of props and costumes the show covers all the salient points from all three films as well as some of the many in jokes. 14 cast members cover every character, spaceship and location. I am not a sci fi freak but have seen all three films not long after they came out. Yet I would say you don’t kneed to know the storyline to enjoy the spectacle. ****
