Based on the works of Dr. Seuss ‘Seussical the Musical’ is presented by Lincoln High School Theatre Guild San Jose. Not growing up with ‘The Cat in a Hat’ and all the other characters I was a little at a loss, fortunately you don’t need to know anything about the characters to enjoy the show. For example I don’t know if, JoJo, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie La bird and General Schmitz are in the same books or not. Horton the Elephant, Neil Hooper hears a tiny voice screaming for ‘Help!’, the voice comes from a tiny speck of dust on which are a world full of nearly invisible people. He rests the speck on a clover flower but no one believes him and he is charged with going insane. After being separated from his new friends and many adventures they are reunited and all ends well. ****
