Mervyn Stutter’s Pick Of The Fringe
This Fringe institution has now been going for 15 years and is still one of the best value tasters of the Fringe Fare that is available. The show faithfully follows the format that I have seen for the past four years, and a lot of his audience have been going a lot longer than I have, of Mr Stutter chatting for a few minutes, singing a couple of his funny songs, then it is six acts who get the chance to showcase their Fringe shows. The version I saw had music from Johnny Berlinner, playing a couple of gigs at C Central Cabaret bar, Dusty Limits is Heartless at C , theatre from Wheelers Luck at Assembly, an extract from The Tempest from Eyeball Theatre at C Too , and comedy from Kevin Tomlinson who is performing his Seven Ages at The Pleasance and Watson & Oliver who are also are at the Pleasance. This of course is just one day of the rum, the line-up will change daily, so this is another of the shows you could attend more than once.
