Gavin Webster: Don’t Give Any Money to Comic Relief and Other Opinions 3 Star *** - One4Review
one4review | On 08, Aug 2013
Gavin Webster is a big guy with a big voice and an opinion on a lot of subjects and is more than willing to share these with his audience. He is a self-proclaimed bitter man and sees nothing wrong with being like that.
He announces that this show is the third part of a trilogy, well I saw last year’s show and didn’t obviously see a connection, but theme on not giving money to comic relief was vigorously expounded on and certainly didn’t sit too well with a section of his audience.
But he had opinions on other things too, the youth’s love of Google and box sets, Bill Hicks, the celebration of ignorance, Nick Griffin and alleged disabled skivers caused him to express his thoughts volubly. But it was the show’s title that really got him going together with the financial situation of the major players that got his dander up.
Webster is an entertaining comedian and now he has an evening show has arrived on the scene. I would say he has been there for a while.
