Maths at the Museum 4**** - One4Review

Maths at the Museum 4****

| On 17, Aug 2023

Kyle D Evans delivers a cracker of a show combining maths and comedy for kids. Set in the lecture theatre at the National Museum, Kyle uses props, games and the young audience to demonstrate a range of maths problems. My daughter’s favourite was the human version of the Towers of Hanoi involving three kids and numerous oversized t-shirts. Kyle had the whole audience shouting out answers and getting involved. I think this show is ideal for maths fans but also would encourage those who struggle with maths to see the fun in it.

The show is an hour long and the time flew by. There were adults and kids of all ages and who all appeared to be enjoying the show. The show is recommended for kids ages five and over and I think that is about right. It is noisy and chaotic enough that a family could bring their toddler along without worrying they might be making too much noise. On the other side of the age recommendations, I’d say that kids ages 11 and over might be a bit too old for some of the jokes and games.

Overall a gem of a show for all the family.
