Part of the PBH free fringe, you’re not sure what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this show. The two ‘grumpy magicians’ are Paul and John who combine magic and comedy into a really enjoyable performance for all ages.

I didn’t realise these guys have been performing for years and appear to be quite successful. They do the shows, not for profit but because they enjoy doing them. Todays show was full with standing room only.

Audience participation is key to the magic tricks and volunteers are selected however no one is made to feel uncomfortable. Their charming but grumpy attitude helps to make people feel relaxed and adds to the comedy of the show.

Paul and John perform their magic tricks mixed with comedy. There are some funny twists to a few of their tricks which turn out brilliantly. I found myself disappointed when it ended as I was looking for more.
