For quite a while now Garrett Millerick has been attending the Edinburgh Fringe and it is fair to say that each time I have seen his shows  I have been impressed.

He is a larger-than-life character, he always has something to say and is not afraid to say it. Also, he has stage presence in spades.

Millerick is looking for inspiration and so far, nothing that has happened in 2024 has done that. He has a solution. I revamped Space race. That’s the thing.

In his show we get a potted history of the 50’s and 60’s ventures into space inspired by the famous JFK speech. He thinks there could be another coming.

He talks of two comments that inspire most inventions, he could have a point. He also discusses the state of Britain, his young daughters nursery and her possible career path, passive aggressive ways of complaining, flags, and why people are obsessed with them, the AI and the love of, and cost of, his beloved mobile phone. All subjects that are eruditely discussed as only he can. But there are laughs too, loads of them, his shows never have a shortage there.
