Otter Lee : Princess Syndrome 4**** - One4Review

Otter Lee is a unique performer who brings so much energy and exuberance to the stage it is hard not to be entertained and caught up in the sheer madness of the show. Otter is a Chinese / American comedian, singer, actor, and is absolutely adorable!
There are tales of growing up gay and having a less than sympathetic father who found it amusing that the young Otter, at three years old actually, was profoundly affected by the death of Princess Diana. Otter somehow excuses his father’s behaviour and puts it down to the fact that he was raised in a cage!
There are hilarious renditions of popular Disney classics with Otter’s very own personalised lyrics.
Otter is very talented with a singing voice worthy of the west end stage.
Tales of Otter’s dating history could definitely fill the hour of the show. The dates have been varied and large in numbers. Being gay and growing up with a Princess Diana obsession, perhaps unsurprisingly, made Otter a target for bullies. When later on in life and after coming out Otter thought he would find acceptance and comfort in the gay community but it turned out to be no fairy tale like he had hoped and imagined it would be.
Otter is a larger than life character and a born performer. He tells us that he loves to perform. It shows and his unique brand of humour is infectious.
A very funny hour of comedy and songs.
