Rohan Sharma - Mad Dog 3*** - One4Review

Rohan Sharma – Mad Dog 3***

| On 06, Aug 2025

Mad Dog is a pocket rocket of a show, fuelled by madcap comedy and a look into this young British Hindu’s life and early childhood.  Rohan Sharma shares his memories on what it’s like for an Indian boy growing up on a predominantly white street.

He loves British culture and especially enjoys British food, but he’s trying to reconnect with his heritage and explores reincarnation, racism and his struggles in general.

Family life for this London lad plays a significant role in his story telling and for him, the UK is a nice place to stay. His immersion in British culture means that he doesn’t think he’s a good role model as a Hindu and he appears a bit torn between the two.

Sharma’s show is a bit of a chaotic whirlwind as he jumps around with limitless energy. His observations are verging on bizarre but his PowerPoint presentations are hilarious.

Good audience interaction keeps this show on track and his enthusiasm shines throughout this 60 minutes of madcap stand-up, however I felt the inclusion of his “tech guy” missed the mark and didn’t land well with the crowd. There’s a great feature he does on pros and cons and that’s kinda how I felt at the end of the show.
